On Screen Timer

00:00

How It Works

01

Choose a mode

Use Timer, Clock, or Stopwatch depending on whether you want to count down, see the current time, or measure elapsed time.

02

Set and start

Enter a duration such as 5, 02:00, 01:30:00, or 90s then press Start.

03

Add your tasks

Use the Mini To-do to add what you are working on. Tasks move through Pending, Current, and Completed.

04

Track your current work

Keep up to two Current Tasks at once. Each records its own active work duration while a Timer or Stopwatch session runs.

05

Change the view

Switch between Modern, Digital, and Analog, and choose Tiny, Mid, Big, or Full depending on how large or focused you want the display.

06

Pick up where you left off

On Screen Timer stores supported session state and preferences locally in the browser so refreshing does not automatically erase your work.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set an online timer?

First, ensure you have selected Timer mode. Enter your desired duration in the input field using natural formats like 5, 02:00, or 01:30:00. Then press Start.

Do I need an account to use On Screen Timer?

No account is required for normal use. It is ready to use immediately without signing up.

What happens if I refresh the page?

Your Timer, Stopwatch, tasks, preferences and supported Study Block state may restore when you return or refresh, as they are stored locally in your browser.

What is Full mode?

Full mode provides a focused app-level view by hiding nonessential page chrome, keeping only important controls available. It is not the browser Fullscreen API.

How do Study Block Presets work?

Choose a preset from Settings. The Timer will use named phases (independent of your Current Task) and progress automatically through each segment until the final one ends.

Can I use On Screen Timer as a Pomodoro timer?

Yes, you can manually use it for Pomodoro-style sessions (like 25 minutes work, short break) by setting the timer, or you can use Study Block Presets to follow structured sequences.
